L&L Workshop: Yoga for Student Living
This Yoga course is open to all levels of yoga experience. The course will consist of yoga postures/movements, meditation approaches and breath awareness essentials that are key to maintaining wellness through the unique challenges of student life. Learning to balance the nervous system through 'restorative yoga' techniques will be emphasized in each class. No experience is necessary. Dress comfortably; bring a yoga mat if you have one (not required).

L&L Workshop: What Would You Do? Bystander Intervention Training
'What are you doing for others?' - MLK Jr. This workshop is focused on empowering each of us to be involved in preventing violence. Together we will be identifying problem behaviors, deciding when and how to intervene, and working through scenarios to practice getting involved in a safe environment. Participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Walk With Me - These Hands Don't Hurt Event
Paint your handprints on the Student Union windows to say "These Hands Don't Hurt" and help us raise awareness about domestic violence and show support for survivors in our community. Visit the Walk With Me exhibit, and then walk the walk. Unlike traditional awareness walks, Walk With Me at UB challenges all of us to walk through our usual day wearing a purple bandana as a show of support to those affected by domestic violence (purple is the color of Domestic Violence Awareness Month). Pick up your free WWM bandana (while supplies last) to wear as a show of support, and share your pledge of support.
