The University at Buffalo's Counseling Services office is responsible for various web sites (e.g., The UB Counseling Services home page, The Counseling Center Village, The Counseling Centers Directory). These sites have been recognized as some of the best Counseling Center sites on the web. Here is a brief listing of some of the recognition that we have received.

Web Guide: For The Best Time Online, December 1999. Our section on stress rated as one of the best such sites on the net.
SUNY Faculty/Senate Outstanding Student Life Program Award, October 1997 "Counseling Centers on the Information Highway"
Innovations in College Counseling: The Counseling Center Web. Selected as an innovative Counseling Center program, American College Personnel Association, 1997.

Web Site of the Month: American Psychological Association. See article in the APA Monitor .
Favorite Graduate Student website. Here's another article in the APA Monitor . Graduate students were asked which websites they'd found to be worthwhile resources for information on careers, research, professional development and graduate school survival. The Counseling Center Village was one of those sites.
New Riders' Official World Wide Web Internet Yellow Pages, 7th ed.. We were one of fifteen sites listed under Self-Help, and we were the only University Counseling Center.
